One of the new features in Windows Server 2008 is Fine-Grained Password Policies. This new feature makes it possible to configure multiple password policies within one Active Directory domain. In the previosy versions of Windows server (2000 & 2003) this was not possible without creating multiple AD domain. Microsoft did not include a simple GUI to configure the Fine-Grained Password policies. Instead you need ADSIedit to configure the policies.
Christoffer Andersson created the Fine Grained Password Policy Tool.
