Using this building webgui editor can sometimes be a pain in the ass, especially when write posts with pictures. Since the release of MS Word 2007 you can use Word as an editor to write your blog posts. This guide will show you how to configure MS Word 2010 for using it with WordPress.</p>
<p><strong>Configuration:<br />
</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Go to &#8220;Save &amp; Send&#8221; under the File menu, and click on &#8220;Publish as Blog Post&#8221;.</li>
</ul>

<li>Create a new account by choosing &#8220;Register Now&#8221;.</li>

<li>Choose &#8220;WordPress&#8221; as your blog provider and press &#8220;Next&#8221;.</li>

<li>Fill in the right URL and Logon information and press &#8220;OK&#8221;.</li>

<li>Give your Post a title and write your item.</li>

<li>To publish your post as a draft, click on the arrow of the publish button and choose &#8220;Publish as Draft&#8221;.</li>

<li>Open your WordPress console and notice your published draft.</li>

<p><strong>Troubleshooting:<br />
</strong></p>
<p>You could get the following error message &#8220;Word cannot register your account&#8221; when creating a WordPress connection.</p>

<p>One of the common solutions is enabling XML-RPC Remote Publishing within WordPress. Logon as Admin and check if the following setting is enabled &#8220;Settings -&gt; Writing -&gt; Remote Publishing -&gt; XML-RPC&#8221;.</p>
